Chargeable services include any meetings with you and others; time spent traveling; considering, preparing and working on papers; letters or emails received/sent and making/receiving telephone calls.

Services not included in the prices above are those provided by third parties, who will charge an additional amount, such as a surveyor.

Disbursements

In all cases there will be disbursements, some examples are*:

• Land Registry fees – from £40.00
• Search fees – around £300.00
• Bank Transfer fees - £25 + VAT

*Disbursements vary from case to case.

The quote provided includes any meetings, preparing the Contract/application to the Land Registry and any other necessary drafting. Their supervisor is Mrs Deborah Hayden-Pawson, who qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and has over 30 years’ experience.

Stamp Duty or Land Tax (on purchase)

Stamp Duty depends on the purchase price of your property. The amount can be calculated using the HMRC website.
